By accessing or using ThreadPilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ThreadPilot is a unified workspace platform that integrates email, messaging, projects, expenses, and receivables management. The Service may include features such as calendar synchronization, payment processing through third-party providers, and AI-assisted content generation.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google (Gmail, Calendar), Stripe (payments), and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

6. Data Handling and Security

We are committed to protecting your data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• We do not store the full content of your emails or SMS messages. Message content remains with the original provider (Gmail, etc.) and is fetched securely when you view it.
• We do not store full financial transaction details from Stripe Financial Connections. Sensitive data remains with Stripe and is retrieved on-demand.
• Contact information, OAuth tokens, and transaction descriptions that we do store are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.
• Each user has a unique encryption key for their data, stored separately from the encrypted data.

7. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service may require payment. All payments are processed through Stripe and are subject to their terms. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ThreadPilot and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreadPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
