ThreadPilot Terms of Service

1. Overview

ThreadPilot is a unified inbox and AI productivity platform. It allows users to manage emails, calendars, and contacts; connect external messaging accounts; and interact with an AI assistant powered by technologies like OpenAI GPT-4.5, Google Gemini, and LangGraph.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Service.
• If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To use ThreadPilot, you may need to create an account and authenticate using Google, Microsoft, or another OAuth provider. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure.
• Ensuring your account activity complies with these Terms.
• Not sharing your account access with others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that compromise platform security.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use ThreadPilot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Access or use another user's data without consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the Service to send spam, abuse AI systems, or automate deceptive content.
• Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or security features.
• Use the AI features to generate unlawful, discriminatory, or harmful content.

5. Integrations & Third-Party Services

ThreadPilot connects with third-party services such as:

• Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts)
• Microsoft Outlook
• OpenAI, Google Gemini, and other AI APIs

When you connect these accounts, you authorize ThreadPilot to securely access and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for third-party services or any damages arising from their use.

6. AI and Automation Disclaimer

ThreadPilot provides AI-generated suggestions and automation to assist with email management, scheduling, and communication. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content.
• The Company is not liable for actions taken based on AI responses.

7. Data Handling & Privacy

Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. By using ThreadPilot, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your data as described there.

Key practices include:

• Encrypted transmission and storage of credentials.
• Secure OAuth-based account linking.
• Limited retention of AI conversation history for product improvement.

8. Payment & Subscriptions

If ThreadPilot offers paid plans:

• Pricing and payment terms are displayed at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
• Refunds are not provided except where required by law.
• All payments are handled via secure third-party processors.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in ThreadPilot—including its code, design, trademarks, and content—belong to Eastern Shore IT LLC.

You retain ownership of the content you upload or connect but grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it as necessary to operate the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms,
• Your usage poses a security or operational risk, or
• We discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

ThreadPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Continuous uptime,
• Error-free AI outputs, or
• Compatibility with all third-party integrations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eastern Shore IT LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, service interruption, or lost profits.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Eastern Shore IT LLC and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service,
• Your breach of these Terms, or
• Your violation of applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify users by email or in-app notice. Continued use of ThreadPilot after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Baldwin County, Alabama.
